QTIBPOC Creatives

“I believe that telling our stories, first to ourselves and then to one another and the world, is a revolutionary act.”

QTIBPOC Creatives is a creative participatory performance project and a youth theatre running Monday nights for 30 weeks a year in Stoke Newington

QTIBPOC stands for Queer, Trans, Intersex, Black & People of Colour. Specifically, the collective is for working class LGBTQI+ young people, aged between 18 and 26, from BAME backgrounds

Its aim is to inspire creativity, resilience and confidence in black and brown London youth

The focus is on developing artistic skills; personal development; using art as an instrument for social and political change; and strategies of survival and community building.
